While conducting research for my graduate thesis involving arts and medical wellness, I became interested in working with paper as a medium for creating non-objective compositions. The approach enables me the opportunity to work simply and intuitively. Exploring the elements and principles of design within each composition, I strive to achieve an aesthetic experience. One decision helps inform the next. New ideas, solutions, and thoughts emerge; a reconciliation between my ideals and reality. Passages of color and shape vanish and emerge again, imploring a different perspective.
