During my graduate studies, I began working with paper as a sculptural medium to create wall reliefs. Exploring the elements and principles of design within each composition, I strive to achieve an aesthetic experience. I tend to work intuitively with the materials at hand. One decision helps to inform the next and the results continue to evolve. This kind of approach is a panacea for all things. New ideas, solutions, and thoughts emerge that enable reconciliation and resolution. Passages of color and shape recede and emerge, vanish and appear again to implore a different perspective.
